Whatever happened to the “Tully’s for Tiles” sign in Smithfield Square in Dublin? It’s a bit of a mystery.
When you stood under it the sign had an almost crucifix-like quality. It reminded me a little bit of Salvador Dali’s painting Christ of Saint John of the Cross, which is now in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow.
Anyone know its current whereabouts? Did the “T” end up somewhere in Block T? Or end up in Blanchardstown when the business moved there? Or was it thrown into the skip of history?

Did you ever find out what happened to it?
Hi Sinead,
Sorry, no sign of it whatsoever.
